Got back from the LMU/Denver game not too long ago. Both teams played
poorly. LMU was up 8 with the ball with 40 seconds to go and top player
Worthy bounced the ball off his foot out of bounds under one on one
pressure. On next possession he missed 2 free throws and another guard
went 1 for 2 FT’s on last two possessions. Ugly game.

Won with the Yankees Tues and lost with Liriano so 1 & 1 for the day. I’m still kicking myself for the Liriano bet as those two matched up a week earlier in MN and so often the results are reversed when they switch cities.  Lost the Under in the Met/Mart. game last last night.

That puts me at 10 out my last 15 and 24 out of 35 and YTD at 65-47.

Today I like the Angels with Weaver in the early game as Weaver has very good and McClung has been soso.  Then, I like a dog with Verlander and Detroit over the Chic. WS. V  has been better on the road than at home and I just like this young pitcher.  Boston should beat the Yankees today with Schilling but I won’t bet against the Yankees when they are this hot.  Good Luck to all.
