with my loss on the clemson game, tha brings the season record to 11-8. i
had a major beat down last week.

florida -3….laying a small # at the swamp, better qb play in leak.

georgia -12.5……richt owns phillip here. also, sending a frosh qb
between the hedges not a good idea.

ohio +9…..last 13 losses for marshall, 11 have been on the road. 9
points to many in this game…prefer to side with the comfortable number.

penn state +11…..going against the grain a little bit here. be careful
with purdue here…playing there 3rd straight road game here with wisc.

maryland -12.5….tech turning the ball over likes its the 1st of the
month lately with 10 in the last 2 games. with ball the wheels have come
off….played better as a freshman. on the other side of the ball statham
gaining confidence.

The Journal Sentinel reports Favre was scheduled to return Saturday
afternoon after attending his brother-in-law’s funeral in Mississippi.
Favre, who suffered a concussion against the Giants, has shown no ill
effects and practiced two of the four days this week. “He showed no signs
that night or the next day that are concussion-related,” HC Sherman said.
“We feel like he’s a safe bet to play in the game and be healthy. He took
the concussion test twice with the trainers and demonstrated to us there’s

TN is throwing a lefty with a wicked curve ball (James Atkins, 10-4, 3.22
ERA) who has been a hot pitcher. FL counters with a righty (Alan Horne
(9-2, 4.15 ERA)

Corsaletti (.371,10,51) and Headley (.391, 13, 63) have similar stats w/
Headley being slightly better (against similar competition).

The key is that Corsaletti bats from the left side and Headley is a switch
hitter. Lefties really struggle with Atkins curve. Big advantage Headley.
