Sunday was indeed a tale of two stories, as our post earlier stated all plays a go

early we must say looked like another disappointment as we went 0-3 losing with

the Steelers and Falcons and the Over between Carolina and Chicago. Must say

after seeing these finals we were feeling disappointed. But thankfully we were far

away from being wiped out as the late plays went incredible 8-1 the loser being

the Under between the Colts and Bengals a total that was finished by halftime if

not before than. The eight winners that made us proud were the Colts

and Broncos, also the Over in both the Seahawks-49ers and Chiefs and Texans,

after going 0-4 in the NBA and NHL on Saturday we bounced back on Sunday

and swept our plays going 4-0 winning in the NHL with the  NY Rangers, Under

Vancouver-Anaheim, the NBA winners were the Nuggets and Under between the

Rockets and Pacers.  A disappointing 0-3 early Sunday to an amazing 8-1 late.

Brings our record to a less than humble 31-36-3.

TCU is stopping Utah’s run with 5 men in the box. When 7 can’t block 5, you’ve got major problems. Utah QB is also completely rattled. I don’t know why they don’t call a QB draw. It is wide open after he gets past the front 4, but he insists on waiting around until the DB’s close in on him. I don’t see how they pull this one out without a little help.

Picks with basic writeups

Mich/Ind over 49- Michigan will wear down IU defense and make better
adjustments at halftime, look for Big blue to have a lot of 2h points.

Wake +11- Wake has enough offense to stay close IMHO,

Syr -6, Syracuse has played some tough teams. Rutgers granted beat
Michigan State, but lost to UNH. Look for about a 2 td win in the carrier
dome.

LSU/GA under 37. This will be a great football game. Two strong D’s.

CSU -3, Look for CSU to look strong at home,

Vandy -12, anti Mississippi State pick, they are awful and without their
starting QB.

EMich -7, Idaho is not good, look for EMich west coast offense to have
their way.

There did not seem to be the same quality number of teams in many
conferences……

The SEC had a number of programs that did not meet expectations

The Pac Ten had some notables that are usually very strong that were
rebuilding…

Same can be said for many of the other major conferences.

Maybe that is why we had so many undefeated teams this year. Lot’s more
parity but still a few really good teams as well No doubt USC is very
strong indeed….

If I am not mistaken, there is a 35 second clock in the NCAA. This is
play by play on Yahoo. How the hell does Maryland have the ball w/ 40 sec
to go in the 1st half and miss a shot, and still have the ball with .04
seconds left, with Duke never getting possesion, and shooting again? That
would be possession of the ball for 36 straight seconds, which would be a
shot block violation. Is there an explination for this? Thanks.

Olivier Patience +110 against the big huge monster ivo karlovic,  this guy is so big and has such a huge serve but he’s not a great clay court player, any other surface he waxes this guy, but  this guy patience is from france and he is a clay courter, just won a warmup tournament on clay before this,  i like patience in 4 sets, ivo probably wins 1 tie breaker 

Jie Zheng -160 against Tatiana Golovin ,  golovin has the looks but she hasn’t played in a tournament since the nasty ankle injury she got in miami,    u gotta be able to move on clay, so i’m taking zheng who has already won a clay court tournament earlier in the year,  i like the fact that she has played several clay court tournys and golovin hasn’t played a tournament match since april

Fernando Vicente  -190 against  Alexander Waske

i like the spainard here, in this matchup, they have played twice head to head and vicente has won both,  waske not much of a clay court player,  vicente’s best surface is the dirt, he made it to the 3rd round in a long 5 set match with carlos moya, should be a easy win for vicente
