I dont understand why Westbrook is the underdog. He has great stats and
Ledezma is a below average pitcher and didnt have a good spring. Cle did
well against him in the limited experience they have with him.

Although the price is a little steep. Gregg has solid numbers and had a
solid spring. Lima gives up a lot of homers and LAA have good career
numbers off him. I think this is the game where the LAA hitters really
show their power.

Does the fact that soap operas still exist scare you? Obviously the only

OK, I can hear it already. You’re just taking the “feel-good” pick. And, there would be a small amount of truth in that. However, I think the betting public has this completely wrong! Forget about the stats, since most are based on a totally non-productive Saints team. My usual analysis is filled with yards per carry, defensive effectiveness, and special teams comments. This is, however, a call from the heart, not the brain. A couple of years ago, Brett Favre played against Oakland under the Monday lights, just a day after his father passed away. He threw for 400 yards and 4 touchdowns in what was his greatest (and possibly last truly great) performance. The only difference was his emotional connection to the game. If any group of players has an emotional connection to a game, it’s the Saints. They have been on the road for over a year, with this being the biggest homecoming in history. Yes, maybe the emotionalism gets the better of them, but I’m betting that it doesn’t. Take the Saints plus 4, and make a small placement on the M/L as a bonus. Drew, Reggie, Joe and the gang come home to tears and cheers.
