glad I had the over and Denver bet, and Plummer sucked as usual…I hadnt
seen the highlights until tonight, almost puked out the $2200 it cost me.

Thoughts?

First off, I have a lean to Cal right now cause without a doubt they are
the superior team, and I think they have a big point to prove tonight to a
lot of people. I’ve been looking at this game a lot the past couple days
though and having a hard time laying double digit points with Cal hurting
bad at the wide receiver position. Losing two stud WR’s in Lyman earlier
in the season, now McArthur may seriously hurt the passing game, and make
them rely on Arrington a lot more on the ground, not sure if I want to lay
double digit points in this case. Very undecided on this game as we speak
, but like I said , leaning to Cal with all they have to prove here.

Vegas has obviously adjusted the line (Eagles -4.5) for the Eagles poor
performance in the past NFC championship games. But why wasn’t the
Pats/Colts line adjusted for the same reasons? No one has been more futile
than the Colts vs the Pats. Which leads me to my question. How much public
seniment is factored into a line? I.E. The public likes Vick more than
McNabb or wants the Patriots to lose because they have been so successful,
etc..

18 earned runs, much better..so what will Benson do tonight..my guess is
somewhere in- between.
Wilson (1-4, 7.46 era, in 8 starts, throwing 41 inn 60 hits, 34 runs,
including, get this-”9″ home runs, whip 1.83), Mets batting avg against
him .269..in the last 3 years, at Shea, he has a 7.24 era,1-1 in 2 starts,
throwing 13.2 inn 17 hits, 11 earned runs.. Wilson is erratic,, usually
he’s bad, on an unusal occasion he’ll throw in a good game…if we play
the Mets, lets cross our fingers he doesn’t do it tonight, which he is not
likely….

I’m jumping on Tampa Bay -3 at Green Bay…  I’ve watched the Packers struggle 2 weeks in a row now against 2 very poor teams (Detroit, Cleveland)  Favre is no longer the same old Favre were used to seeing,, his O’line is weaker,, he’s missing his top target in Walker,, and their Defence does not look good at all to me.. Tampa on the other hand has a great young D again,, their offence has been moving the ball well behind Griese, Clayton and especially rookie Cadillac Williams who is rippin it up so far…  So far they have given up 74 yards rushing in the 2 combined games so far..  The best part is for the Bucs they go to Lambeau field in September to take on the Pack rather then late November or December in the cold weather… Really like TB in this spot and I expect the line to rise from -3…
