Explain to me….

When a team has the ball in the last 2 minutes the fat a%@ refs spot the ball as quick as possible, but the rest of the time the lard a&$  take their time. It makes no sense ..do it all the time or not at all. Way to go Ravens! I needed it!

HAS ANYONE else noticed this

so far in the baseball playoffs 5 games, there has been at least 1 run scored in the first inning in every game,  very unexpected especially with the solid starting pitching in the playoffs,  some sportsbooks offer lines for this, i know mine does, so i’m playing for a run to be scored tonight in the yankees angels game in the first inning

-105 for a first inning run

NFL Plays Tonight

I think I’m 2-3-1 pre season NFL games posting here: I have been on a bit of a down streak lately as far as postings go …..so play em or fade em…….GL

Tonight going with ::

St. Louis +4 :: Both teams playing starters at least three quarters. Until proven otherwise I think you have the over all better team getting points here.

St. Louis/Detroit Over 43 :: Just my opinion ,there will be more than 43 on the board before this one is done.

Both lines taken at Pinnacle . GL

Sox&Yanks…

Really like the soxs here with schilling pitching. As for the over/under
8′ alot of people talking the over. Although alot of runs have been put
up in the playoffs so far liking the under. Schilling has like a 1.74 era
in the playoffs. As for Mussina can’t see the bats of the soxs coming out
on fire this game anyway Mussina at home was 8-2 this year with a 3.5 era
just see more of a pitching duel than BP. Your thoughts…THANKS

Bad Day

I couldn’t have picked worse than today. I guess this was just one of
those days. It is good think I didn’t lay too much on those games.
Minnesota just sucked today. That was horrible. I guess Virginia isn’t
that great either. I learned a lot this weekend about some teams.

Sat. Hoops – RS

Lock of the day is ILL down at Ark and only a 9 point favorite. Nothing
much to say except remember when this Ill team just did to WF!!!!! Don’t
expect Ark to stay within 20 points of the Illini!!!
Then we have Wash in the NBA once again – this time against Chicago. If
they could beat Atl by 24 yesterday on the road just imagine what they
will beat Chic by at home. This is an NBA team flying under the radar
that simply covers game after game. They have beat the spread 7 times in
a row and it’s because they have so many scorers in double numbers each
game. As I pointed out early in the season, Wash. smells blood because
they have MIami and Orlando in their division and they know neither of
those two teams is all that good and they should be able to get in the
playoffs if they must put forth the effort and they are doing just that.
I had them last night along with the T-Wolves who as I have been saying
are at the top of their game after beating the Kings and the Suns in the
past week.
I’m also looking at Texas Tech and Okla State as possible picks today but
need some more time. Can’t believe TT is a dog. Bobby Knight has this
team playing very well this year again. They are 3-1 with an upset loss at
TCU who just beat Fla St 71-70. TT plays against Kansas and Okla St and
Okla and Texas so they certainly play better teams then UTEP sees over in
the WAC where TT just played SMU and won by around 40. No comparison
between the conferences and UTEP’s coach moved over to Texas A & M from
UTEP so their assistant took over.

St only 2. I do not know why the line is moving to Ok St as sracuse was a

re: Services moving numbers…..

…..I have been friends with a pretty well-known handicapper for 5 or so
years…..I once breached the subject with him that lines moved due to
“service plays”…..he responded that my thinking was ridiculous and that
only “smart money” moved numbers and that no book moved their number based
upon handicapper plays…..I begged to differ and countered with the fact
that NC 5*’s, Doc’s big games ALWAYS resulted in big line moves…..he
said that I was being naive to believe that and that sportsbooks could
care less about handicappers and were not tuned into their info at all…..

Edward mentioned over 7,500 (!) people on his mailing list for the first
free month……are you guys as surprised as I am in that we aren’t seeing
even BIGGER line moves on his games? Maybe my friend is right, as value
shoppers have jumped against our sides each of the past two nights…..

why was this post taken down. ??

Whats up fellas, just want to say hello.
Ive been gambling for 20 yrs and i learned the hard way.. Do your own
Homework. I use to call those assholes, Jim feist, wayne root and every
other dick who had the “game of the year” and this, and, that. ITS all
bull. most guys are giving out both sides of a game under 2 different
Names, companys etc,etc.. anyway, In my expierience college hoops is the
easiest sport to handicapp. Not that its simple. its just easier than the
other sports. NFL football, Vegas has all week to put everygame under a
microscope. same go;s for college football but not as bad. College hoops
go;s on just about everyday with 50-75 games.. its not that easy for vegas
to get an accurate line as if they would football or the NBA.. On a friday
night i stay up and handicapp for about 6-8 hours for saturdays College
hoops..
Heres what im going with in the early games.

BIG PLAY.. NEBRASKA-2
KENTUCKY-121/2 Kentucky burried indiana at indi by just about 40 last
year.
Florida-3
Colorado ST + 4 1/2
GOOD LUCK….

your judgement on this post…i read that post and didnt think twice about
it possibly being a bash……its really a stretch to do that….i think
the one’s that took it that way are just peeps who dislike aaa…..i dont
like or dislike aaa and it never registered to me like that…… and
bennie? i respect your capabilities man…54% IS a helluva job like AAA
says with that many games posted i hope you take it as a compliment

As if we don’t have enough, Big Al Horse.

BIG AL’S MONSTER LONGSHOT BELMONT STAKES WINNER.
At 6:35 pm, on Saturday, our selection is on the #10 horse, Indy Storm.
Let me start out by saying that I am a HUGE Afleet Alex fan. This horse
has done nothing wrong and has shown great courage and heart, as has his
jockey, Jeremy Rose throughout the Triple Crown campaign. First, there’s
the story of the little girl named Alex with cancer and the lemonade
stands that are popping up all over in the name of Alex (the girl and the
horse) to raise money for cancer research. Then there is the gallant
effort in the Derby. And then of course there is the heroic and
breathtaking (I’ve run out of words to describe it) effort in the
Preakness that will go down as one of the greatest rides not just in
Triple Crown history, but in all of racing. So this is why it’s so
difficult for me to say this…A LONG SHOT will win the Belmont! Why?
Well, this is a race for FRESH horses and dead closers. And it is also a
race for a jockey named Edgar Prado. Prado first pulled off a huge upset
three years ago with 70-1 shot Sarava, and then again last year with 36-1
shot Birdstone. Sure, two years ago Empire Maker raced near the front the
whole way and pulled off down the stretch in the slop to win easily. But
the fractions up front were soft in that race; there was no speed to
challenge him; and any closers who may have been there that day had no
chance. Saturday we have an eleven horse field (barring any scratches),
tons of early speed with the likes of Pinpoint, AP Arrow, and Reverberate,
and of course we have Nick Zito (who has three horses in the race) and the
giant killer, Edgar Prado. Like Sarava three years ago, Zito’s Indy Storm
last raced in an allowance race on Preakness day to prepare for this one.
And like Sarava (who was trained by Kenny McPeek, not Zito) Indy Storm was
impressive, winning by two widening lengths in very good time under that
day’s jockey, Gary Stevens. Indy Storm’s daddy, AP Indy, won this race in
1992 and Indy Storm is impeccably bred for this distance. You probably
won’t get 70-1 on Indy Storm, but you will get at least his morning line
of 20-1. Use him across the board and in an exacta box with Afleet Alex
and Giacomo. Throw another Zito horse, Andromeda’s Hero, into your exotics
as well and sit back and enjoy another huge performance on Belmont Day by
the kings of New York, Zito and Prado. Good luck, as always…Al McMordie.
And don’t miss my big NBA Winners, as well as Baseball plays today.

Badco,, we sure had to sweat that one out..

As I mentioned before the game, it was gonna be a good game between two of
the leagues top teams, Lions dominated the first half, and the Defending
Grey Cup Champs Argos took it to them in the 2nd half. Thanks to some
bonehead Toronto penalties, BC was able to score the TD on the last drive
with a minute left then hang on for dear life (thought we were going to OT
there for sure until that fumble). We will definitely take the win to
start the year though, nice to be undefeated for the year in CFL,, did you
watch the game on CBC at all??
