Caught STL yesterday to take care of a game 3 so we didn’t have to go deeper on that. Pretty easy win there. Yanks and CSX both lose game 1’s which we will go after next week. Bos/Yanks play and Ana/CSX play, so no action there. Looks like a slow weekend coming up with just Stl and Atl.

Looking ahead, there will be still some opportunities, but some head to head series to come. I am looking for a 100 unit target and start winding things down. That would certainly be a successful month/month and a half of work with only one real pressure packed wager (so far, and hopefully the rest of the way).

stressin’ and cursin’ the colts in the first, good shit on their part
comming through in the clutch.

still like new englad first half, and starting to lean towards them for
the game too, no way arz. can upset them. also thinkin about taking the
jets -3, but i don’t think SD is as bad as they were last year.

Lady Blue Raiders are a very well coached and athletic squad. They beat
UNC in the 1st round of the NCAA’s last year and return many of those same

Sorry I didn’t post the Chicago game the other day. I knew it was going to
be a push anyway. LOL. That push on Indy’s 3-gamer presents the rarest of
rare 2-game series now. We only have one more shot at Indy, and it’s with
a team on a 5-game losing streak and only one cover in that span. I guess
we can hang our hat on the fact that the Bucks have gone 4-1 SU and 4-1
ATS in their L5 at home. The problem is, the combined records of the teams
Indy has beaten on their 3-game winning streak is 132-75. And 2 of those
games were on the road. We’ll see…

NBA: Charlotte Bobcats at Memphis Grizzlies – Under 191
Game Date: 4/10/2005
Note: The Grizzlies are playing some of their best basketball of the
season and specifically on defense. They just happen to have one of the
best D’s in the league anyway giving up just over 88 per game when playing
at the FedEx Forum. Last 5 contests for the Grizzlies they have allowed
just 82 per game. Memphis is content to play their style of ball
regardless of who they play and that is evidenced by the fact the total
has gone under at a 10-1 and 17-4 clip the last 11 and 21 times they have
played a team that gives up 99 points or more. Mike Fratello since taking
the reins has changed the style of play and Wegas is still trying to catch
up with that fact. Grizzlies score just 93 per game and they are happy
with those efforts. BobCats managed just 75 last time out at Milwaukee and
although we do not think their output will be that low, we also don’t
think they will get even close their season average tonight.

Note: Toronto Bluejay pitcher Gustavo Chacin is no fluke. Chacin (3-0,
1.42 ERA) is 24-year-old Venezuelan lefty who has recorded one of the best
Aprils in Blue Jays history, winning his first three starts. He has
allowed just three earned runs in 19.0 innings and is coming off a gem in
his last outing on Saturday when he shut out the powerful Rangers lineup
over 8.0 innings, allowing only two hits in an 8-0 road win. He had a very
impressive 18-2 record with a 2.88 ERA in the Minors before being called
up late last year where he went 1-1 with a 2.88 era with the Big Club.
Mike Mussina’s control has been somewhat erratic this season, as he has
allowed 23 hits and walked eight in 16.2 innings pitched. Sometimes big
salaries are just not enough. Yanks fall tonight…..

Only one play today – Roger Clemens who is the greatest pitcher going so
far this year and certainly will start the all star game as no one else
comes close to the year he’s having when you examine his stat’s. Get on
him and stay on him. He has only given up over 5 hits twice in 17 starts.
Clemens has been 2 or under in ER’s 12 of his 17 starts. 15 of his 17
he’s 3 and under in ER’s. His two terrible games were 4 and 5 Earned
Runs. Unbelievable!!! Numbers like I’ve never seen before from any
pitcher. Simply amazing!!!! Did Kofax ever have a season like Roger’s? An
ERA of 1.41 . A WHIP of 0.93. Only one bet today – Houston and Roger –
Don’t even know who he’s pitching against. Don’t Care!!!

Like this Clipper team this year more than the Sonics.

Sonics lose James and Daniels and I think that will really hurt their depth, but the real loss with be Coach McMillan as this team will miss his motivation type style.  Ray Allen is nursing a sore groin and sat out practice Monday.  He will have to run hard tonight as Mobely will be chasing him all night.

Clippers have some real back court now with da cat Mobley and my boy Sam “head” Casell.  Nursing a tweeked hamstring to start the season but watch Corey Magette this year as he makes the all-star this year in the West and should have a monster season.

Think the Clips make the playoffs this year.

Think they can win this one straight up but +6 is nice.

Hawaii-7.5 (3 units)  Hawaii has not been playing well lately,but I think this is a great spot for them.Nortwestern State has played two tough games lately covering both(Oregon State&Iowa State(2ot)They have only lost by more than 9 once all year @Missouri,yet Hawaii is giving7.5 or 8 at some places.I really like the NW State team,but believe thier spent here.I look for Hawaii to win by 10 -14 points.
