lost a lot of close calls yesterday… went 2-4 for -0.6 units as we win our 2 unit play on Philly -1.5, and nice dog on Pitt +160,,,, but the Pit/NYI game falls a goal short of the total,, the Ott/TB game loses by a half goal,,, Detroit falls in OT… and Colorado -1.5 +165 gives up a short handed goal with only 50 seconds left to win 4-3 instead of 4-2… that one hurt…

Atlanta -150 1 unit -  With the likes of young superstar scorers Kovalchuk and Hossa ,, along with Savard and Bondra… this team can score a lot of goals.. Their problem early in the season was goaltending as they were down to their 4th and 5th string at one point… not a good place to be… They have two quality goalies now in Shields and Dunham, and are coming off a nice 6-4 win in Tampa…   Washington is just downright terrible this year,, and are missing a couple of their top guys at the moment to make matters worse,, they lost 8-1 in Philly last night,, with less then 24 hours to recover from that beating,,, I don’t see them improving a whole lot tonight…

Johan Santana is going for the twins tonight and has not given up more
than 3 runs in his last 13 games and is 10-2 with a 1.66 era in his last
12 games.
Mussina going for the Yanks, and he owns the Twins. He is 20-2 lifetime
against them with an era around 2.5 i believe. Twins offense has really
been terrible, I was surprised that they scored 8 runs last night. Be
advised Mussina is on a pitch count and may only pitch 5 innings.
Minnesota has one of the best bullpens in the league, and leads the AL in
team ERA. This is a very strong play for me tonight. I watch every Twins
game and if anyone can watch tonight on ESPN do so. Johan Santana is
pitching better than anyone in the game right now, and he is very fun to
watch. He leads the AL in strikeouts and has A+ stuff. Should be a fun

Someone posteed a horse for the race, the 4 horse. I went to bet it and
looked over the the other horses. I was baked nad buzzed and decided to
do a tri-box. Took the 2-4-6-9. Just so happens the 4 opened at 3-1 and
by post time was 7-1. The 9 was about 10-1, 6 was a fav and 2 was about
12-1. It actually paid $850. I was just excited about hitting it, so I
posted it. No different than posting about being pissed of on a loss,

Someone posted a few weeks ago that the brewers seldom play back to back unders……well, their last two games have gone under and 3 of their last 4 have gone under….so they may be due for an over………..ben sheets goes for milwaukee and has been struggling since his comeback from elbow problems,……… and i watched his last outing in which he could only get his fast ball up to the low 90’s……he usually can fire that thing in the upper 90′’s…..therefore he got shelled and his era in his last couple of starts is in the 7.00 range…….colorado has switched pitchers and is now throwing byung kim who is 7-8 with an era near 5.00….. (although he did beat the brewers 8-2 the last time)….i guess the brewers are due for an over and with the uncertainty of sheets arm strength and the pitching change for colorado……….. i will be playing the Over on this game tonite in milwaukee
