Wow! What a finish! This may be a stretch, but this game eerily reminded
me of the MNF game the other night! Rockets, just like the Cowboys, lead
almost wire to wire, then give up the cover towards the end, only to get
it back in miraculous fashion & win straight up! Anyone else see this?

(16.8 ppg, 5 assists) Yaphett King (14 ppg, 6.3 rebounds) , Jammaal Brown

they have a bunch of scrubs who can’t score as their starting 5. These
guys will be playing a lot of minutes again tonite but so far that hasn’t
stopped them in wins over Oregon St and San Fran. This team has made me a
lot of cash since Christmas so I can’t resist taking them +10 against
Georgetown tonight.. have to agree with Pats here

HOU (BACKE) +148 over Fla (Moehler) – 1 UNIT – 4:05pm Pacific
Backe is actually pretty good despite his high ERA and BAA. He’s got
excellent command and a very good dominance rate. He got bombed in his
last start, but he wasn’t at full strength, as he was recovering from a
bout with the flu. Moehler has been good thus far, but he hasn’t seen
significant action in about 9 days, so he may be a little rusty.

OVER 10.5 SD (LAWRENCE)/CIN (CLAUSSEN) -109 – 1 UNIT – 4:10pm Pacific
Lawrence had a decent game against STL his last time out, but his road ERA
still stands at 12.31. His home ERA is 1.57. All of his HR allowed have
come on the road. Last year, he also had problems with HRs allowed on the
road, and the Great American Ballpark is not kind to pitchers who are
prone to the long ball. Claussen has been experiencing control problems.
In his last start, he finally cut down on the walks, but ended up giving
up 10 hits and 7 ER. Both teams combined to use 13 pitchers last night,
so their pens figure to be a little stretched, and the Cincinnati pen is
pretty bad to begin with.

MIL (GLOVER) -103 over Phi (Padilla) – 1 UNIT – 5:05pm Pacific
Padilla doesn’t seem fully recovered from his injury. He currently sports
a horrible K/BB rate, and reports have stated that the control on his
slider has been off, which has forced him to rely on his fastball. The
problem with that is he hasn’t regained his arm strength yet, so hitters
have been able to take advantage. Glover has pitched well in all but one
of his starts this year. Throw in a struggling Phillie offense, and this
looks like a decent play.

UNDER 8.5 MIN (RADKE)/BAL (BEDARD) -123 – 1 UNIT – 4:05pm Pacific
Radke has an unbelievable K/BB rate. His only weakness continues to be
his HR/9, but since he’s not letting any baserunners on, he’s not getting
burned by it. Bedard seems like the real deal, as he has given up more
than 1 ER inonly one of his starts this year. The only concern may be his
workload; he threw 126 pitches in his last start, and has gone over 100 in
all but one of his starts.

UNDER 8 KC (GREINKE)/TOR (HALLADAY) -126 – 1 UNIT – 4:05pm Pacific
Greinke was outstanding in his last game against the hot White Sox, and
actually faced the minimum after 7 innings before the bullpen blew it for
him. This will be Toronto’s first look at him, so Greinke figures to have
the advantage, moreso since Toronto has been struggling offensively.
Halladay will be receiving an extra day of rest, which should be
beneficial, given his workload thus far. He shouldn’t have any problems
with the anemic KC offense.
