Note: With a win today the Steelers will pull even with the Bengals and if they do not, they are 2 games behind. Pittsburgh still has a lot of injuries but somehow Cowher and Company will get the job done today. The Bengals, despite being 8-3, still have not defeated anyone with a WINNING Record, and they have proven to be helpless against good rushing teams. We put the Steelers in that catagory despite their weak performance on the ground last week against a fired up Colt D. Trendwise, the Steelers continue to be one of the better divesion home teams winning their last 15 of 18 straightup. Meanwhile the Bengals are 2-39 straightup, 10-41 ATS last 43 road games against competition with a 60% or better win percentage. The Steelers beat Cincy 27-13 and we do not think revenge will be a factor with a team that performs so poorly in this situational game. Cincinnati has the 25th worst rushing D in the NFL and that is the primary reason for their woes on the road and against the better teams. After all, the better teams can generally run the ball. The Bengals are 9-25 when they allow 100 or more yards on the ground and we think they do that today. Pitt has 2 consecutive losses. Bad spot for the Bengals here against an NFL team that needs to win, needs to win bad, can run the ball, and has a stellar home record. We will lay the 3 and watch Cowher snort and hollar through a home victory…

I knew that Cardinals game smelled too good to be true. I got to the park and saw the score and just laughed. 3-1 on the night, however, including my one a day which is now 10-4 on the season.
