Minn. over Mich St. + 5
How can Minn. be a 5 point dog at home to anyone? They are simply so
underrated it’s silly.
Does being 10 & 2 against the spread tell us that this is so? The Gophers
havn’t lost to the spread since Nov. – In their 4 Big Ten games they have
allowed 27,23,17 & 9 as 3 point % for opposing teams. FG % in the 30’s at
best and they are 3 & 1 SU having lost to Iowa in Iowa by 6. Mich. St. on
the other hand just beat winless Purdue by 7 at home and lost to overrated
Wisc. by 3 in Wisc. Nothing special here. I can see Mich. St. winning
this game but not by over a point or so. Minny will be in it at the end
and beat them SU. Watch this game and see if Greer isn’t the best player
on the court in the last two minutes. That’s what wins college games
anyway – whose got the best player in the last minute!!!

The scenario I look for is Clemens to pitch well and go maybe 7 inn into
the game, and for Harang, to last maybe 5 or 6 innings and make the Astros
miserable hitting look better, and with the help of his team mates allow
them a few runs…and for Houstons bedraggled bullpen to hang on for the
win… Cinti’s bpen isn’t much better.
