So what do you great handicappers have to stay about the 2nd half of this
game?

EKU really gave away this game. They dominated Murray in the second half
but make a lot of stupid mistakes down the stretch to give the game away.

Still, watch EKU the rest of the year. I think they are coming together
and should do better going forward.

I keep hearing that the weather this weekend will help Philly and hurt
Atlanta. I say it will help Atlanta more than Philly . Atlanta is a
running team while Philly a short passing team. This stat really stood
out to me, the Eagles haven’t had a player run for 100 hundred yards this
year since week 4 against Chicago! Vick has run for 100 hundred yards 4
times this year by himself and Dun has rushed for 100 hundred 5 times.

think they play better.

Statistics are in their favor as they have played great after losses this

Also, for those of you not on the east coast, it is snowing like a bitch.

4 and 2 Akron -1 on a neutral floor over an 8-2 Miss State squad off 5 straight wins……

Won with Oak and Harden Wed. and lost the late game with the White Sox and Buerhle who were victims of the normal hitters letdown after getting 32 Total Bases the day before.  Now 23-24-1 YTD.

Today we have a gift to start with as Johan will kick the Royals ass once again as he usually does.  He was actually very sharp in his last loss to Buerhle as he went 7-5-2 and had 6 SO’s and 3 walks.  A 5 hitter usually is not a loss but the White Sox were in a hitting hot streak and the Twins relievers got pounded in that one.  Today he faces Redman who has pitched for 5 teams in 5 years.  He must be a real great one!!!! Santana gets beat by the long ball when he loses and that’s something the Royals singles hitters know nothing about.  The Twins aren’t going to lose 2 of 3 to the hapless Royals who still have the worst record in the AL by a full 3 games.  I won’t be on the Twins much until they pick up their hitting again but this is one game I see them winning easily and will take them at 1.5 runs to increase the payout. 

Then we have Colo and Cook versus Lieber and the Phils which appears to be a mismatch to me as Lieber has been awful so far and is a streak pitcher who either wins them all or sucks.  Last year he went into a tailspin in midMay and lost 9 of his next 12 until he got squared away and finished real good.  Colo’s Cook pitch’s well on the road and is a ground ball pitcher who keeps his ERA down.  He had 11 of 13 starts at 3 or less ER’s last year with 4 at one and 4 at two and 3 at 11 and only 2 games above 3 ER’s.  He has had to pitch this year 3 times at Coors and that’s a tough place for any pitcher and he’ll be very glad to be going away from Coor’s today.  I like Colo a lot in this one.  Good Luck to all.
