I really like the over 56.5 in this game. I think peterson runs wild on this oregon defense and oklahomas defensive backs will not be able to stop oregons passing game. Oklahoma’s best cover guy is suspended. I think his name is Onyganageche or something like that. this game goes over 60 easy . opinions apreciated.

The Patriots are healthier than they’ve been in a long time and I don’t think they back off now that they’re finally peaking. Comments from the coaches and players have been positive in regards to seeing a good effort and typical playing time. Although the Jets offense has shown some signs of life the past couple weeks behind Bollinger vs Oakland and Miami I feel they’ll be overmatched. As I mentioned last week vs Tampa, young QBs have an extremely difficult time vs the Pats as is the case again today. Typically it’s resulted in a winning turnover margin for New England and that’s pointspread death when the Patriots also win the turnover battle. The Patriots have held their last 3 opponents to under 170 yards of offense and that includes a game vs the Jets only 3 weeks ago. The yardage numbers have been dominating for New England the past 3 games: 397-164 (Jets), 494-183 (Bills), 336-138 (Bucs). Patriots have played hard for 16 games in the past (2-0 SU and ATS the past 2 seasons in their final games) and I think we’ll see New England serve notice to the rest of the league under the Monday night lights. For a change injuries favor the Patriots and having Dillon back balances out an offense that was already tough to contain. Defensive injuries up to the Jets up front will make it even tougher. I expect New England to build a solid lead early and dominate on defense all night so I’ll lay the points.

at the end of the MNF game last night, Al Michaels commented that in the
entire 35+ year history of MNF, no team had ever come back from a 10 point
deficit with less than 2 minutes to play until last night… kind of
amazing if you think about it.
That being said, this weekend’s trip to Minny could get ugly early for the
Seabags… short week already and travel to an away game, not to mention
the type of game they lost last night. They might get crushed… and I say
that as no fan of the Vikings in any way. I hold them in only slightly
higher regard as a team than Seattle.

I’ve been notified by my web host that the site bandwith has gone past our
alotted capacity which is the reason for the recent slow performance of
the site.

I have made a few quick changes, replacing images on the left bar with
text links and lowering the number of visible posts per page from 200 to
125. We are working on optimizing some of the code as well. Hopefully we
can get the performance back up to speed ASAP.

Chicago +3 1/2   (buy)  Same situation as last week.  The Bears are for real.  Their D is #1 in the league and gaining confidence.  They are playing at home against a good Cincy squad.  The reason the line is like this is because Cincy blowing out the overrated Vikings.  Who cares.  Minnesota has been dominated two games in a row, and playing on grass, outside in Cincy without Randy Moss is a dead end street for the gutless Vikings.  Chicago will dominate the O and D lines against the Bengals.  I dont think this line will move to +2 1/2 but I am playing it now to buy it off the key number of 3.  The points wont be necessary as the  Bears make it two in a row at home.
