Don’t laugh. The Badgers have a season similar to Ohio State in 2002-03.
Orton supposedly had his Heisman all but locked-up, something I scoffed
by the way going into this game, and the Badgers did a great job against
him.
Wisconsin’s defensive line, if healthy, is the best in the country and
that secondary is no joke.
To those who don’t think the Badgers could hang with Okie or USC or Mia
or FlaState, I believe Alvarez has quite a few players from Florida on his
roster.
I am not saying they are the top team in the country, I just think
they’re closer than most people think.

How did your “dirty birds” look today? I see the game started slow, but
after the 8 min mark, wow.

Was T.O. flapping away or was he a little more subdued?

Thought I had a 4-3 day, went to my pinn account and had more cash than I
should have had. I checked graded wagers last 24 hrs. and to my surprise I
had a 4-2 day. For some reason when I was making my bets, I neglected to
make the Dallas bet!! That takes the sting away from the Cats total
loss. Only an extra unit, but it’s still nice.

What company do you use and do you use an offshore account for withdraws,

this team takes my money when I bet against them, and loses my money when
I bet on them, every single time…it is unbelievable, I don’t think there
is a more inconsistent team in the country to figure out. In there last 5
games, they lose by 17 to a bad and injured Santa Barbara club, lose by 14
on homecourt to Northridge, give league leaders Pacific a great battle and
lose by 2, get smoked by a bad Riverside team missing their best player
(scoring and rebounding), then tonight they walk into Fullerton’s barn,
who are on fire last month, and proceed to throw a whoopin on
Fullerton……go figure, I’m stayin away from Irvine games from this
point on..

just some small plays tonight as nothing sticks out a whole lot:

Okie ST +1 – hands down , Okie St is the better team here. The reason why
OU is the fave here is because of homecourt advantage, however, last year
Okie St won this game at OU 65-52 so I don’t see why they can’t do it
again with their great D. Also of note they beat OU by 20 on their
homecourt so going for 3 straight wins against them here.

N Iowa -3 (this line was -3.5 at Pinny but I felt it was worth it to buy
the hook there as this could be a close game) N.Iowa has a very solid
team this year and that much better on their homecourt. Wich St is very
good, big win over rivals S.Ill on Saturday, a huge emotional win for
them, they may have a tough time here getting up for this one on the road.

Syracuse -5 – I know Rutgers is a very good home team but they don’t seem
to have the same quality team that hangs with Syracuse every game in the
past. In two previous home games against quality opponents, Rutgers lost
to Pitt by 3 , and to 8 by Wisconsin, Syracuse is better then both these
teams and are rolling lately, I will side with them here.

G.Southern -8.5 – Really like this team alot, they are tearing it up in
league play and very good on homecourt. Wofford has lost their top player
Wilkerson (14 pts, 8 reb, 2.5 assists per game) for the season and it
showed in their recent loss to a bad W.Carolina team. (wish i would of
known of that injury prior to that game as I was on wofford). I think its
a double digit home win for G.Southern here..goodluck tonight.

Gibbs fined $10,000 for comments about officials

ASHBURN, Va. (AP) Washington Redskins coach Joe Gibbs was fined $10,000 on Monday for comments he made about the officiating in the team’s loss at Denver on Oct. 9.

“My emotions got the best of me and I made some comments after the game,” Gibbs said. “When you violate league policy, you pay a price. It’s my responsibility.”

Gibbs had several complaints about the 21-19 defeat to the Broncos. He didn’t like an offensive pass interference call on David Patten that negated a touchdown, a holding call that wiped out a big run by Clinton Portis, and the application of the “tuck rule” which overturned a Redskins safety.

“I don’t think it was a well-officiated game … There’s some mystery stuff going on,” Gibbs said the next day.
