I’m writing this as Cleveland is down to its last 3 outs, trailing 7-2 to
Minnesota. Barring a miracle, they’ll go 0-6 on this trip and cost us a
bundle. But, undaunted we continue. Assuming they’ll lose, now up 18 units
since early May.

SAINTS-DOLPHINS GAME TIME CHANGED TO 6:30 PM CT KICKOFF

New Orleans Saints

The New Orleans Saints have announced that the start of the preseason game
tonight with the Miami Dolphins has been moved up from a 7:00 pm kickoff
to a 6:30 pm kickoff.

“Due to the circumstances surrounding Hurricane Frances, we have decided
to move the kickoff up 30 minutes to 6:30 pm to assist the Miami Dolphins
in hopes that they will be able to return to South Florida as early as
possible,” said Saints Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey
Loomis. “We have spoken with the Dolphins throughout this whole process
and we feel this is very important to ensure that we do what we can to
accommodate them during this tough situation.”

Gates at the Louisiana Superdome will open at 5:00 pm.

Hello all you olive branches. Well, anuther Tree Day has come and gone and
has left in it’s path a drunk gambler with dumb and useless presents that
will probably find it’s way back to the store shelves or in the trashcan.
Why can’t people get me stuff that I REALLY like or even have a use for?
Here are some of the trash I got this year. First I got mittens. No, not
gloves, but MITTENS. Y’know, those cheeasy ass gloves where all 4 fingers
go in the same pouch. What the F#@#!?! Do I look like a 5 year old?? I
want my fingers to move freely, not be treated like criminals and confined
in a prison of a wool/cotton blend. If my index moves, the other 3 follow.
Terrible.

My brother did get me the coolest gift. He got me one of those self
lubricating vaginas. Some may laugh, some may give a quizzical look, but
for those who frequent your favorite porno store, you will know exactly
what I am talking about. This is, like it’s name implies, a realistic mold
of a womans vagina- basically a man’s version of the vibrator for women.
Problem is, it is run my electricity and has a cord and plug and all. I
don’t know about you, but I feel a bit hesitant to thrust my penis into
something that can ultimately electrocute me. It would be quite an
embarrasing situation if I tell my girlfriend I am taking a nap, then I go

I had the Houston / Cincy under 7 1/2.

The pathetic, and I mean pathetic Houston bullpen gives up 7 runs to Cincy
(who I think I could pitch one inning to without giving up more than 2
runs). 7 runs in the 9th when technically, with the bullpen of Cincy,
they are still very much in the game before giving up those 7.

Anyway, 2 total runs going into the 9th and I felt good.

Due to the rule changes for the upcoming 2006 College Football Season, the games will be sped up significantly. Mark Richt of UGA and Phil Fulmer of UT both stated that they expect 10-15 less plays per game in College Football this year. That is a huge difference. I have heard several handicappers already commenting on how Vegas will take a couple weeks to adjust. I am not saying Vegas is guessing, they never are, but several O/U look good out there to me if the rules do make a significant difference
