I guess this makes the fade play on Miami official, what with another newbie jumping on the Gators.  Miami is perfect at home, 5-0; however, teams beaten have a combined record of 14-31.  Two of them are still winless.  Any time this Miami team has been tested this year they have lost by DD (all on the road, granted).  I would call this a test for Miami.  Florida’s lowest output this year is 74; Miami has reached that number in only half their games…an odd angle, but it makes that 2.5 too short a number for me.  Florida for 1 unit.

NC State PK

I like NC State here for a similar reason; Alabama simply has not passed any test they’ve faced this year.  They are 1-4 ATS at home, with the only win being their last game vs Georgia St.  There is also the common opponent factor (Notre Dame), a bonus angle in non conference play:  Alabama lost at home to ND, NC State beat ND by DD on a neutral court.  NC State has a conference win under their belt, and we’re just looking for the win here anyway.  I trust NC State more than I do Alabama right now.  NC State for 1 unit.
